GREEN WINE RESERVE
Vinho Verde Reserve
It is a Green Wine obtained exclusively from the rigorous selection of the most illustrious white variety of the region - Alvarinho, whose grapes are harvested at the beginning of September, in its perfect state of maturation. This is followed by total destemming and a peculiar maceration process in the cold. The grapes are then pumped for low pressure pneumatic pressing, the pressed wort is then decanted for about 8H at 10 ° C and transferred to the alcoholic fermentation cups, a process in which only selected yeasts are used and which takes approximately 10 days , which takes place at an automatically controlled temperature of 14 ° C. After the degradation of all sugars, the wine is submitted to a Bâtonnage process for about 3 months, in order to give it more structure, volume and longevity.
TASTING NOTES OF THE ENOLOGIST
It is a wine of citric color, with aroma of tropical fruits and mineral notes, enveloping, fresh and persistent. Elegant wine with aromatic sobriety, which makes it a pleasant company for very special moments.
It is a pleasant and harmonious company for appetizers and diverse dishes of poultry, fish or seafood. It should be consumed at a temperature between 10 and 12 ºC.
